I love when I have an exciting weekend plan. It makes me appreciate the weekend even more. So yesterday- we had a surprise party for my dad because he turned 5-0!! My mom invited a couple of his friends over and then my mom told him to go to Kohls with her because he a gift card, then I stayed home to get the house ready and my mom called to say when they were on their way home, when she did we waited for them to come in and yelled " SUPRISE", he was shocked which was really cool because I have never seen him like that before. Over all it was a nice party and I think my dad enjoyed it. Then today- my family had a bridal shower at my house for my cousin Brock's fiance, Tori. Then Tomorrow I am really excited because Ria thurston from Life as a Wife got tickets to the lynx game and had extras. She invited me and my sisters because she knows my sisters play basketball and I love to watch basketball. And my friend Kassie gets to come too, and Ria has a suite we get to watch t

So as you can tell from the last couple posts July has been a busy month for me with so many birthdays happening in July. So today was my grandma's birthday and then tomorrow we are having every1 over to celebrate all of the July birthdays in my family. I thinks there's like 6 or 7 birthdays in my family that are in July. Then Sunday its the mission trip celebration where we invite the whole church to a dessert celebration and talk about what God did on the mission trips. If you remember a month an a half ago I went to Chicago with some of the kids from youth group. But then other kids went to Mexico to perform dramas and skits. And also the jr high kids just got back from Michgan. THEN 1 more mission trip.... 5 kids and 2 adults are going up north to a city called Atkin,MN to put on a VBS at a church there. They leave right after the celebration. So its pretty cool how God has been using us throughout the summer.

So as you can see from my last post, I love tobymac and his new cd came out recently. But i have only heard a few of the new songs. Well this is one of them and the lyrics are so true. So a really good friend of mine actually started this note on facebook where you type 25 facts of you and then tag other people so you can learn more about them, so I am going to take tha t same idea but apply it to blog world. I am going to do 15 things not 25. ok here it goes... 1. I love Mcdonald Frappes!! Caribou and Dunn Bros is good but Mcdonald's is better 2. My favorite candy bar is milky way. 3. So as the post says there are two birthdays... well technially 3 becasue my sister and brother are twins. It was their birthday yesterday. My sister Abbey and Tyler turned 15. They are in the front. I know i am not a mom but I do remember changing their diapers. And when my bro was little he would climb into garbage cans when there were no trash bags in them. And then my sister Abbey would have this sweater that was red with leopard print fur on it and she would carry it EVERYWHERE... it eventually got holey so my aunt bought her another one but that red sweater was her life. Well I love them to death, and its really cool to have a twin brother and sister. I can't belileve they will be taking drivers ed soon and will start driving AHH scary.. just kidding I know they will be good drivers. So the next birthday is my one of my best friends Jennifer Marie Agnes Walling . Her birthday is today. She turns the big 1-8. She is offically legal. We actually met at my brothers baseball game

Happy 14th Birthday Haylee!! You are an awesome sister and I love you to death. We may fight a lot but I think you are one cool sister and I love how you use that energy and hyperness for God! You are a great hairstylist and a trendsetter. That letter you wrote about me for school was so sweet and nice and it made me cry. When I go off to college, I will miss you tons and you and Abbey will have to come stay with me. Enjoy your day!!

This is the book that I am going through by Mark Hall ( lead singer of Casting Crowns). One of the big things that I have been learning about is forgiveness. its something I have to practice everyday. But what Mark says is I need to remember is God is not a God bound by human logic. We may find it hard to forgive others and when someone hurts us and we find it hard to forgive and forget, God doesn't. He forgives right away and forgets it. here's a paragraph out of his book " When God says he forgives us, he is speaking the truth because he is truth. When God says he forgives, he isn't talking about a sappy, sentimental moment in which we talked him into being good to us. He is referring to a decision he makes to extend grace to an undeserving person. He did this by killing his son." I hope you guys have a good weekend. I'll be enjoying the sun here in MN.

I've realized that I haven't written in a while and I know its already Wednesday but I'm just going to share my weekend in pictures. Hope that's ok. Thursday was shopping day. Melodie and I went to Rosedale mall to go shopping and I must say I was super excited because not only did I get to hang with melodie whom I haven't seen in a LONG time but I also found some good deals. ( Btw that dress I didnt get but I liked it alot.) Saturday- This is Kassie. It was her 18th birthday on Saturday so she went to get her nose pierced. And she invited me to go with. She went to St. Sabrinas in uptown. Sunday- It was fourth of july. We went out to Delano for the parade and a barbecue. Unfortnatley I didn't get any picture because I forgot my camera but I did get pictures later that night when we did fireworks with my neighbors.
